Getting pulled over can be stressful, even if you haven’t done anything wrong. Whether it’s a minor traffic issue or a misunderstanding, how you respond in the moment can have a big impact later.
Here's what you need to remember:
✅ Do:
Keep your hands visible on the wheel.
Be polite, even if you’re nervous or upset.
Stay still and wait for instructions before reaching for anything.
🚫 Don’t:
Don’t reach suddenly or make quick movements.
Don’t admit guilt or talk too much.
If the officer is acting unfairly or aggressively, stay calm.
Take mental notes. Record the interaction (if it's legal in your state). Get badge numbers, patrol car ID, and file a formal complaint later if needed.
The most important thing? Let Seidule Law do the fighting.
If you’ve been mistreated or charged during a traffic stop, call Nick Seidule at (407) 448-2254.
Your rights matter. We’ll make sure they’re protected.
